What is DiMaS

DiMaS is a Discrete Mathematics Seminar organized by the Department of Applied Mathematics. DiMaS runs place usually once a week at VŠB - Technical University of Ostrava. |
The primary purpose of the seminar is to stimulate research activities. It is a place the participants can present problems they are working on, discuss them and exchange ideas.
Seminar outline
The "usual schedule" of one session is
- introduction to a problem + motivation
- presentation of a problem
- open questions related to the problem
- discussion
