How to get there

The nearest airports are Ostrava (OSR), Prague (PRG), Vienna (VIE), and Krakow (KRK). We will arrange transportation from Ostrava Airport to the conference site upon request. From the other airports, you can take a train to Ostrava, Svinov (copy and paste) (direct trains from Prague, Vienna, Krakow) from where we will provide a shuttle bus service

The "IWOCA" Train

• If you travel from Vienna, we suggest the train "IC 102 Polonia" which departs at 14:58 from "Wien Südbahnhof" and arrives in Ostrava-Svinov at 17:54.
• If you travel from Krakow, we suggest the train "R 38100 /38101" which departs at 11:47 from "Krakow Glowny". You have to change trains at Katowice to "105 Sobieski" leaving at 14:09. The train arrives at Ostrava-Svinov at 16:02.
• If you travel from Prague, we suggest to use the "Pendolino" train that offers a regular connection between Prague and Ostrava. Most convenient are either "505 SC Pendolino" departing at 13:23 from "Praha hlavni nadrazi" and arriving in Ostrava-Svinov at 16:22 or the "507 SC Pendolino" departing at 15:23 from the same station and arriving at 18:22.

To Hradec nad Moravicí on your own

Of course you can travel to Hradec nad Moravicí on your own (with train change in Ostrava-Svinov and Opava vychod) - search for Hradec n.Moravicí (copy and paste) or a bus search for Hradec n.Moravicí, žel.st. (copy and paste) directly to Hradec nad Moravicí or combine both.
From both stations it's a pleasant walk about 1 km to the hotels, partly uphill. The directions from the train and bus station are clearly marked by local direction signs to "Zamek". The castle is visible from every point of the town.

When arriving by car from Opava direction, turn right at the first intersection after the bridge. There will be signs "Zamek", which will lead you to the conference site.

When arriving by car from Olomouc/Fulnek direction, turn left at the first intersection in Hradec (just after the gas station).

Location

The conference will take place in Hotel Červený Zámek in Hradec nad Moravicí near Opava, Czech Republic. Accommodation will be provided in nearby hotels Sonáta and Hotel Belaria.

The hotels are located in a small square next to Hradec Castle. The castle is surrounded by a beautiful park that extends to forests where you can walk or bike for miles.
